Retail Sales Associates

Dash Square is seeking applications to fill Retail Sales Associate vacancies at its Banaswadi, Dickenson Road, Whitefield, Banashankari, and BTM Layout stores. The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting sales activities and sales associate job duties such as welcoming customers to the store, answering customer questions, offering assistance, suggesting items to suit specific or general requirements, and providing product information. Retail Sales Associates must demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills, assist in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas. The successful candidates must continually refresh their knowledge of Dash Square’s product range, assist in processing customer payments, and maintain professional attitude and enthusiasm. The successful candidate will be expected to continuously refresh their knowledge about Dash Square’s product line.

Responsibilities:

Store Accountants

Dash Square seeks applications from motivated, self-driven and creative individuals for the position of Store Accountant at its Banashankari, Dickenson Road, Whitefield and BTM Layout stores. The Store Accountant will be responsible for leading the closure of monthly financial statements, reporting, as well as related accounting tasks. This position requires at least two years of experience in the use of Tally, strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, strong financial reporting and analytical skills and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be presentable, have good teamwork skills, and should show initiative and the ability to close tasks well in advance of stated deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, post and reconcile transactions
  • Prepare and process purchase orders
  • Verify and match purchase and payable invoices for accuracy
  • Verify customer invoices and payments for accuracy
  • Process payroll
  • Analyse and summarize financial information
  • Prepare error-free accounting reports
  • Participate in the financial forecast process
  • Prepare other various reports and a workable budget

Warehouse Managers

The Warehouse Manager will manage people, processes and systems to ensure the receipt and dispatch of products and goods, while ensuring achievement of productivity goals and targets. The Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of workplace health, safety and security, and for maintaining security of the warehouse building and stock. The ideal candidate will be presentable, have good teamwork and communication skills, and should show initiative and ability to close tasks well in advance of stated deadlines.

Warehouse Manager Responsibilities:
  • Act as a point of contact for management, suppliers, and transport companies
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, order, and dispatch of products
  • Use warehouse space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and safety and security objectives are met
  • Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
